SARASOTA — A Sarasota woman has been charged with violating the right-of-way in causing a three-car collision, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Hayley Childs, 27, of Sarasota, was driving a 1992 Mercedes at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday southbound on North Cattlemen Road and Commercial Way.
A 2006 GMC Envoy driven northbound by a 33-year-old Lakewood Ranch man approaching the same intersection in the left lane and a Dadi driven by a 46-year-old Bradenton woman was stopped on Commercial Way waiting to proceed on Cattlemen.
FHP reports Childs turned left into the GMC’s path, causing a collision that forced the Mercedes to hit the Dadi.
