SARASOTA -- FHP officials are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash in Sarasota.
The incident occurred at 2:29 p.m. Friday at Interstate 75 southbound at mile marker 210.
According to a report, the vehicle driven by the suspect was traveling southbound on the entrance ramp of I-75 at the Fruitville Road ramp behind the vehicle driven by the victim.
FHP officials said the suspect failed to slow down and the front bumper of the car collided with the other vehicle's rear bumper. The suspect fled the scene and was last seen heading southbound on I-75, according to a report.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a gray, four-door sedan with extensive front end damage. Anyone with information on the vehicle involved ishould contact FHP Trooper J. Torres at 941-492-5850, Ext. 31928.
