BRADENTON -- A man who had been struck in the face was found unresponsive in a sport utility vehicle at 300 12th St. W. in downtown Bradenton just before 1 a.m. Sunday.
The man had a large abrasion and hematoma around the right eye, according to a Bradenton Police Department news release.
The man was in an SUV in the parking lot on the south side of the Old Main Pub, according to the release.
After emergency personnel arrived and took the battery victim to Blake Medical Center, police were notified that the injuries suffered were not life-threatening, the release states.
