BRADENTON — A Bradenton man was charged Tuesday with possession of marijuana with intent to sell, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Joseph Flinn, 19, was arrested at 10:08 p.m. Tuesday in the 600 block of 26th Street, Bradenton, according to a report.
Police conducting a traffic stop on Flinn for an expired tag smelled and saw suspected marijuana on Flinn’s lap and asked to search the car. Police found a digital scale and a glass pipe with a burnt leafy substance inside in the front center console, according to the report.
Underneath the driver seat was a clear plastic cup with a green leafy substance melted on to the bottom of it and a mason jar with 17.5 grams of marijuana, police reported, along with a box of Ziploc bags and $1,432 in cash.

Flinn told officers the marijuana and scale was his, according to police.
Flinn was released from Manatee County jail Wednesday on bonds totaling $2,000.
