MANATEE — Two Bradenton teens have been charged with burglary of an unoccupied dwelling, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Evan Jones, 18, and Allison Riddle, 18, were arrested at 6:54 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 4000 block of Fourth Ave. Circle NW, Bradenton, according to the report.
A witness told deputies two people were in the home and he had called the homeowner to confirm no one was allowed inside.
Once inside, deputies heard a male voice from behind a closed bedroom door say: “Alright we are coming out.”

Jones and Riddle told deputies they were not there to steal anything -- they were there to have sex.
Jones told deputies a friend who mows the owner’s lawn gave him the garage security code to the house. Deputies reported they found no signs of theft.
Jones was released from Manatee County jail Sunday on $7,500 bond. Riddle was released Monday on the same bond amount, according to the sheriff’s office website.
