BRADENTON — A Bradenton man has been charged with fleeing to elude a law enforcement officer and driving without a valid driver’s license, according to the Bradenton Police Department.
Felix Medina, 54, was arrested at 4:33 p.m. Wednesday at 2500 17th Ave. W., Bradenton, according to the report.
Officers reportedly spotted Medina run a stop sign and activated their emergency lights but Medina still did not stop.
Medina continued driving before coming to a complete stop on 17th Avenue West, police reported.
When a sergeant asked Medina why he hadn’t stopped, the suspect reportedly said: “I didn’t find it necessary.”
Medina was being held without bond, according to the sheriff’s website.
