BRADENTON — A Bradenton woman was arrested on multiple charges after she pawned items stolen from her blind ex-boyfriend, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office.
Melissa Anne Nahrwold, 37, was arrested at 2:30 p.m. Monday.
She and the victim reportedly met in August 2013 and began dating. Nahrwold eventually moved into the victim’s home and soon he began noticing belongings turning up missing.
He reportedly confronted Nahrwold, who denied knowing anything about it.
When the couple broke up Nahrwold reportedly left hastily, leaving behind multiple pawn sale tickets. The sheriff’s office reportedly connected three tickets to the victim’s banjo, TV and laptop.
Nahrworld was charged with three counts of defrauding a pawn broker and three counts of dealing in stolen property, according to a report. Her bonds were later revoked because she violated probation, according to the sheriff’s website.
