SARASOTA — Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi will be recognized for leadership in helping human trafficking victims and ending human trafficking at the Florida Network of Youth and Family Services Annual Awards Banquet at noon Tuesday at the Hyatt Regency Sarasota.
Bondi will speak about her insight and vision for human trafficking victims and perpetrators.
State Sen. Rob Bradley, R-Fleming Island, also will be recognized for his work with Florida’s troubled youth.
The Florida Network of Youth and Family Services is a nonprofit statewide association representing agencies that serve homeless, runaway and troubled youth ages 10 and older and their families.
The Florida Network oversees 31 community-based agencies, which reached more than 20,000 at-risk youth and their families in 2013, providing safe shelter, counseling and referrals. Primary funding is provided by the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
