Florida Supreme Court rejects bid to delay execution of Jimmy Ryce's killer

The Florida Supreme Court Wednesday rejected a last-minute bid to delay this evening’s scheduled execution of Juan Carlos Chavez, the child-sex predator who murdered 9-year-old Jimmy Ryce near the boy’s South Miami-Dade home in 1995.
