BRADENTON — Bradenton police say they are looking for a man who tried to lure with a teddy bear a girl playing near her home.
About 7 p.m. Friday, officers responded to a report of "suspicious activity" in the 1800 block of 23rd Avenue West.
Officers learned that a girl playing near her home was approached by an unknown man who held out a teddy bear as he spoke.
As a parent of the girl started to approach, he drove off. The suspect was described as 55 to 65 years old with no facial hair and a bald spot on his head. He was driving a gray Mercury Grand Marquis.
