MANATEE — Two men Wednesday afternoon robbed a convenience store in Bradenton, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
About 1:40 p.m., the men walked into the OM Mini Market, 4949 14th St. W.
The first suspect entered the store with a shirt wrapped around his hand and told the attendant he had a gun. The other suspect remained outside the store, according to a news release.
The first suspect took $700 to $800 from the register and forced the attendant into the back room.
The two suspects ran away. They were tracked but not found by a K-9 deputy, according to the report.
The first suspect is reportedly a male in his 20s weighing about 175 pounds, and standing 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a black sweat shirt, black shorts, black shoes and black “Bulls” hat with a red bill.
The second suspect is also reported to be a man in his twenties weighing 175 ponds and standing 5 feet 10 inches tall. He also said to have a goatee or a full beard.
