A Manatee County EMS ambulance responding to an emergency with lights and sirens on got into an accident at 10 a.m. Tuesday at 17th Street West and First Avenue, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Mildred Leggett Freemon, 79, Palmetto, was reportedly cited for failure to yield to an emergency vehicle.
