MANATEE -- Gunmen took two television, a laptop computer and possibly two guns during a home invasion robbery in Northwest Bradenton early, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
About 5:30 a.m., a 23-year-old man answered a knock on the side door of his father's home in the 6000 block of Riverview Boulevard, according to a news release.
Upon opening the door, he was met by a man who pointed a gun at him. Two other suspects entered the house and took two flat screen televisions and the computer, the sheriff's office said.
The incident was reported to authorities at 11:15 a.m. when the victim's father learned what had happened, according to the report.
Two handguns were also reported missing from the father's vehicle that was parked in the driveway, according to the sheriff's office.
