MAN A 22-year-old Bradenton man was arrested Monday and charged with dealing in stolen property.
Brandon Robinson, who lists his address as the 4900 block of 19th Avenue West, was in the Manatee County jail Tuesday in lieu of $7,500 bond, according to the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office website.
Authorities allege Robinson sold a thick, 14-karat yellow gold linked bracelet taken from a residence in the 4300 block of 17th Avenue West.Robinson’s arrest reportedly came after deputies put him under surveillance due to his previous criminal record and multiple burglaries occurring around his residence on 19th Avenue West.
The surveillance team allegedly saw Robinson ride to Lucky Leprechaun, a gold-buying business also called Robert T. Mitchell. Robinson allegedly sold multiple pieces of gold jewelry for $1,300.
One of the items was the gold bracelet whose owner later positively identified the piece.
