About 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the victim was riding his bicycle north in the 5000 block of 34th Street West, when he was approached and attacked by the suspects. They struck him in the face and tried to steal his bicycle, according to a news release.
The teen resisted and he was able to ride away, according to the report.
