MANATEE -- Four intruders threatened to shoot a 2-month-old baby during a home invasion robbery in Bradenton late Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
About 11:50 p.m., residents of a home in the 6200 block of Columbia Drive heard a loud knock on the door. When one of the residents, an 18-year-old man, answered the door, four suspects, including one armed with a revolver, forced their way into the house, according to a news release.

"The suspects pointed the gun at the baby and again demanded the money," the report states.
The suspects then made the 18-year-old open the safe he keeps in his room, but it was empty. The suspects they began searching all the rooms. They then made the victims lie on the floor and told them not to move for 10 minutes, the sheriff's office said.
The suspects -- three men and one woman -- then fled in an unknown direction.
The other victims were a 16-year-old juvenile, another 18-year-old man and a 46-year-old man.
