Pilot walks away from hard landing that downed power lines in eastern Sarasota

The 69-year-old pilot of a small ultra-light kit aircraft made a hard landing in eastern Sarasota County, knocking down power lines about 12:05 p.m. today, but walking away from the crash, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office reports.
