MANATEE – The name of the 27-year-old man who died in a shooting in Bradenton on Saturday morning is still being withheld today by the Bradenton Police Department pending notification of next of kin.
“We aren’t able to release it yet,” Capt. Warren Merriman III of the Bradenton Police Department said.
The victim, who is said to be a farm worker from Mexico, has all of his relatives in Mexico and attempts are being made to contact them, Merriman said.
Also unavailable is any information regarding where the man was employed locally, Merriman said.
Two men were arrested late Saturday and charged with the shooting of the victim, which occurred in the 600 block of 21st Street East at 4:15 a.m. Saturday.
