MANATEE -- A suspect got away with $670 in prescription medication during a robbery at a CVS store on Sunday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
A man entered the store at 5310 Lockwood Ridge Road about 4 p.m., walked to the pharmacy and demanded a list of prescription pills, according to a news release.
"The suspect stated that if it wasn't done quickly someone would get hurt," the report states.
The suspect did not show a weapon, but employees did hand over items worth a total of more than $670.

The suspect then fled to west of the store on a bicycle, according to the sheriff's office.
The suspect was described as standing 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds. He had a shaved head and was wearing a black shirt and khaki pants, according to the sheriff's office.
