MANATEE -- The owner of a Bradenton jewelry store was arrested Wednesday on charges he has been dealing in stolen property, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Mohamad "Mo" Issa, 34, was arrested at his store, Issa Jewelers, 5850 14th St. W.
Detective began investigating Issa in November, after they received information from two burglary suspects about stolen property being sold at the business.

During the investigation -- dubbed "Operation Gold Rush" -- undercover detectives sold jewelry to Issa and were never asked for information required by state law, according to a news release.
"Also during the investigation, several known burglars were seen entering the store," the release states. "The forms required by state law failed to show any transactions with the known burglars."
