MANATEE — Two gunmen stole money and jewelry during a home invasion robbery in Bradenton late Wednesday, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The two victims were sitting just outside the front door of a residence in the 3800 block of 11th Street East about 10:30 p.m., when the suspects came from around back of the duplex and ordered them into the house at gunpoint, according to a news release.
The gunmen, who were wearing black clothing and had T-shirts over their faces, ordered them to disrobe and forced them into a bathroom. They then ransacked the residence, getting away with money and jewelry, according to the sheriff's office.
No one was injured in the robbery.
