The Manatee County Sheriff’s Office is searching for two suspects who robbed an ice cream vendor Tuesday, according to a report.
The 31-year-old victim was selling treats from a push cart in the 300 block of 61st Street East at around 5 p.m. when the suspects approached him brandishing a handgun, the report stated.
One suspect was a lookout while the other knocked the victim to the ground and demanded money, the report stated. The suspects were scared off when a neighbor came out and yelled at them.
One of the suspects is about 6-foot-3 and last seen wearing all-black attire. The other is about 5-foot-9 and last seen wearing a gray and red shirt with gray shorts.
