MANATEE -- A man investigators say is a suspect in several burglaries was arrested Wednesday while leaving a Bradenton restaurant, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies learned that a Dodge Durango pickup truck seen at several burglaries, including at least one in Heritage Harbour, was registered to the wife of Letroy Hamilton, and that the couple had recently moved to a residence in the 4600 block of 30th Street West, Bradenton, where deputies set up surveillance, according to the sheriff's office.
Deputies followed the couple to Popi's Restaurant, at Ninth Street West and 17th Avenue West in Bradenton, and arrested Hamilton as he was leaving.
A witness in the Heritage Harbour case picked Hamilton out of a photo lineup, according to a news release.
Hamilton, 19 was being held at the Manatee County jail on multiple charges of burglary, theft and armed trespassing. He also is wanted on a warrant out of Sarasota County, according to the sheriff's office.
