Surveillance video shows two masked men enter a grocery store in Rotterdam, New York on Monday, May 22, 2017, and demand cash. The owner grabs a baseball bat he keeps behind the counter for protection and hits one suspect in the shoulder as he went behind the counter to grab cigarettes. Both men quickly fled, taking with them a total of four packs of cigarettes from behind the counter. The store owner and his wife were uninjured.
The video evidence against Brian Kornbluth, a teacher accused of kissing students in his classroom has been released by Boca Raton police. In the video, the 28-year-old fourth-grade teacher at Somerset Academy charter school is seen kissing a 10-year-old male student on the lips. Police arrested Kornbluth in February of 2017 and last week he pleaded guilty to a charge of battery in the case.
Police in West Chester, Pennsylvania have arrested and charged a 29-year-old man after surveillance video shows him mocking the way a man with cerebral palsy walks, before sucker punching him in the face. The incident occurred on May 10, 2017 at a 7-Eleven.
According to the New York Police Department, two men punched a 40-year-old Army veteran in the vicinity of Valentine Avenue and East 194th Street on May 14 and stole his service dog. The victim suffered minor injuries and refused medical attention.
Andres Avalos Jr. on May 20, 2017, was found guilty of second-degree murder in the death of his wife, Amber Avalos; and of two counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Denise Potter and the Rev.
