Devonte Shipman was threatened with jail and issued a fine over alleged jaywalking following a June 20 incident in Jacksonville, Florida. Shipman recorded his interaction with an officer, named in reports as JS Bolen, in which Bolen threatens Shipman with jail if he won’t go wait by the officer’s car. Shipman was issued with a $62.50 fine for failing to obey a pedestrian control sign. Bolen also said he would fine Shipman for failing to carry identification.

Bradenton Police responded to a home at the corner of Third Street West and 12th Avenue West Thursday afternoon where a boy suffered a gunshot wound. The boy, identified as 12-year-old Abraham Luna, later died.
Between June 9 and June 12, two unknown suspects removed multiple air conditioning units from a business complex, 13027 Linebaugh Avenue W. in Hillsborough County. Security cameras captured the suspects removing one of the AC units using a dolly.
Police are looking for a man who attacked an 18-year-old woman outside a Planet Fitness in Rochester, New Hampshire, punching her 39 times and leaving her badly injured. Rochester Police released a 16-second clip of the June 12, 2017, attack taken from the gym’s surveillance camera. The video only shows the first punch.
Hillsborough County sheriff's detectives have arrested a robbery suspect who got away with cash from a Sunoco gas station/convenience store in Tampa -- but not before a store employee was able to stab him during a struggle. The robbery happened Sunday at the store at 14516 N. 22nd St., Tampa. The suspect, identified as Daniel Eubanks, 41, of Tampa is hospitalized because of his injuries, but he will be booked into the Hillsborough County jail once he recovers.
Home security video shows five armed men arriving outside a Houston home and forcing their way in by breaking open the door with a large stone. Once inside, the men demanded money from a male occupant as they ransacked the home. When the man said he didn't have money he was tied up and beaten. The robbers made off with a small amount of cash along with several firearms, jewelry, and clothing.
A two-man team of thieves used distraction to brazenly steal a victim’s wallet from under her nose. Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit detectives are investigating. On the evening of May 11, 2017, while shopping in the bakery section of the Pompano Beach Whole Foods, the victim was approached by an unidentified Hispanic male. He asked her if she could read the price of a cake on the lowest shelf. When she leaned over, the second thief reached into her purse and grabbed her wallet. The victim noticed almost immediately that something was wrong and struggled with the thief to recover her wallet. The thief fled the store in a rush. His accomplice casually walked away from the melee.
