MANATEE -- A business jet ran off the runway at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport about 8:30 p.m. Sunday.
The passenger and pilot suffered minor scratches, and the front nose gear of the plane was damaged, said Lionel Guilbert, manager of airport operations.
The aircraft was identified as a Cessna Citation 2.
"The pilot said there were some brake problems," Guilbert said.
