The sun, a sailboat and glassy water are sometimes all you need to be transported to another time and place. A little flipping around helps, too. This picture is a reflection of a sailboat moored in the Manatee River near Palmetto. It is cropped tight and flipped 180 degrees, yes, it's upside down. The small ripples in the water created a wavy effect in the boat rigging, and the "stars" on the water is just stuff floating conveniently by on the water's surface. It's all really there, just upside-down, or maybe just right side up. Or it just may all depend on how you decide to hold your newspaper!
