MANATEE -- The Weather Service says scattered thunderstorms will develop Monday afternoon across the Tampa Bay region with locally heavy rain and wind gusts to 45 mph with the stronger storms. The best chance for thunderstorms is between 3 and 7 p.m.
For Bradenton, the Weather Service is calling for partly sunny skies, with a high near 89 and east-southeasterly winds around 9 p.m. becoming westerly in the afternoon. The chance of rain is 30 percent, mainly between 2 and 8 p.m.
Monday evening will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 75.
