BRADENTON -- Bradenton Police Michael Radzilowski will be one of the headliners talking about the Bradenton Riverwalk during a lunchtime meeting Thursday of the Manatee Tiger Bay Club.
Radzilowski, Downtown Development Authority executive director Dave Gustafson and business and civic leader Bernie Croghan will be speaking about the Riverwalk's "growing pains" and "growing gains."
"Since the opening in October, the Bradenton Riverwalk has attracted crowds, events, controversy and celebration," according to announcement on the Tiger Bay Club's website. "We'll look at how problems at the Skatepark are being addressed; how big events are being handled; and how the opening of the Manatee Players will attract conferences as well as theater-goers, starting with a big conference for entrepreneurs and venture capitalists this spring."
The meeting starts at 11:30 a.m. at the Pier 22 restaurant, 1200 First Ave. W., on the Bradenton riverfront.
Never miss a local story.
