MANATEE -- The National Weather Service says Bradenton and the rest of the region Monday could see thunderstorms that produce lightning, gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall.
For Bradenton, forecasters were predicting partly sunny skies and a high near 88. The chance of rain was listed at 50 percent, with the best chance of showers and thunderstorms coming after 11 a.m. By Monday afternoon, winds could gut as high as 26 mph, according to the Weather Service.
Monday night, the chance of rain drops to 30 percent. The expected low is around 76.
