Multiple squad cars idled in the 3000 block of 46th Ave. W. in Bradenton around 10:45 a.m. Sunday as the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office investigated an apparent shooting without injuries.
“No one is hurt,” said Lt. Marc Holder, an MSO shift commander who confirmed it was a shooting but said he could give no other details yet.
Holder responded to the incident along with about six others from the MSO, one of whom put yellow crime tape around the front of the home as neighbors stood outside, some on their cell phones.
“We have no details to give out until our investigation is completed,” Holder said. “But no one is injured.”

No emergency medical vehicles were at the scene.
Holder acknowledged what neighbors could clearly see — a window in the front of the home had a huge hole in it.
A next door neighbor said, “As far as I know, everyone is fine.”
Asked about the shooting, she said, “It was loud.”
