Looking for a job in hospitality? Bradenton, Sarasota hotels need you

The University of South Florida and the Sarasota-Bradenton hospitality industry are working together to address a job shortage in the area by hosting a job fair. Hoteliers and restaurateurs are concerned about filling seasonal hiring needs while the industry also has to support a number of hotels opening in Bradenton and Sarasota over the coming year, including the Zota Beach Resort, the Waterline Marina Resort and Beach Club, a new Hyatt Hotel, a Homewood Suites next to The Mall at University Town Center, an Embassy Suites in downtown Sarasota and a handful of others.

Nashville police search for Waffle House shooting suspect

A gunman opened fire at a Nashville area Waffle House early Sunday morning, April 22, killing four people and wounding four others. Police were combing the area looking for the suspect, identified as Travis Reinking, 29.
