If you’re into eating pickled fish eggs, you’re in luck. The Chiles Group restaurants will celebrate National Caviar Day with a full week of caviar specialty dishes served at the Beach House in Bradenton Beach, Sandbar on Anna Maria Island and Mar Vista in Longboat Key.
The Chiles Group restaurants will serve four separate dishes with caviar. Not all four dishes will be available at all of the restaurants at once, but will rotate between the restaurants throughout the week. The plates offered include:
- Florida lobster salad, wrapped in lettuce and topped with Healthy Earth Caviar
- Alaskan King crab leg bites, topped with crème fraiche and Healthy Earth Caviar
- Mount Cook salmon tartar, topped on a potato cake with caviar and crème fraiche
- Fresh egg pasta wrapped around a poached egg, topped with caviar
The caviar is one part of a project by the Chiles Group restaurants, Healthy Earth-Gulf Coast and Mote Marine Laboratory. The team recently won a Gulf Coast Community Foundation grant to build a local sustainable seafood industry.
