Jennifer Zavidil and Rick Fawley join board. Dennis Zink elected chairman.
MANATEE -- Realize Bradenton Inc. has added two new members to three-year terms on its 12-member board of directors: Jennifer Zavidil and Rick Fawley.
Dennis Zink was elected board chairman and Chris Timol vice chairman.
"We're very pleased to add these talented individuals to the Realize Bradenton board," said Zink. "Each has vital ties to the community and is already involved in enhancing the quality of life in Bradenton."
Fawley is president of Fawley Bryant Architects Inc., a Bradenton-based firm providing architecture, interior design, planning, project development, strategic consulting and sustainability services. He is a 35-year member of the American Institute of Architects, former treasurer of the Florida AIA Gulf Coast Chapter and a founding member and president of the Manatee Architects Association.
A graduate of Leadership Florida, Fawley served on Goodwill Manasota, Manatee Education Foundation, Bradenton Area Economic Development Council, Sarasota Economic Development Council and the Sarasota Chamber of Commerce. In 2014, Fawley won the Kent C. Schulz Distinguished Alumni Award, Leadership Manatee's top alumni recognition.
Zavadil is vice president and retail bank manager of the Cortez branch of BMO Harris Bank. She has more than 30 years financial services experience starting with Barnett Bank of Florida. Zavadil attended State College of Florida and has earned numerous banking certificates through The American Institute of Banking.
She is a member of the Better Business Council Advisory Committee and the Manatee County Chamber of Commerce, a sponsorship liaison and BMO representative with the Manatee County Medical Society, Manatee County Dental Society and the Manatee County Bar Association. Zavadil is an elder with Kirkwood Presbyterian Church and volunteers for the Manatee High School wrestling team.
Zink is a certified mentor and chapter chairman of Manasota SCORE. He is creator and host of "Been There, Done That!" a nationally syndicated small-business podcast series for SCORE. He also facilitates a CEO roundtable for the Manatee Chamber of Commerce, runs a business MeetUp group, "Success Strategies for Business Owners," writes a weekly small-business column and is a business consultant.
Timol is regional director of sales and former vice president of major market services for Paychex Inc., a member of the Lakewood Ranch Business Alliance and Economic Development Council and advisory board member and investor with Janji Inc.
