MANATEE -- St. Stephen's Episcopal School has purchased an office building in front of its campus on Manatee Avenue, signaling potential expansion.
The school purchased the office building at 3806 Manatee Ave. W., from Visiting Nurse Association of Florida for $850,000, according to property records.
The school isn't revealing its plans for the property.
"The opportunity became available for the school to purchase the land that borders our current property," said school spokeswoman Peggy O'Connor.
The two-story, 7,320-square-foot office building was built in 2004 and tenants include Lincare and Mederi Caretenders, a visiting nurse service.
Visiting Nurse Association purchased the land for $500,000 in 2001, according to property records.
