PARRISH -- Medallion Home President Carlos Beruff and his wife, Janelle Beruff, have sold their Parrish home for $968,000.
The Beruffs sold one of their River Woods homes at 11527 30th Cove E. to Ronald Sekinger, who used a $726,000 mortgage from Fifth Third Bank to finance the deal. The sale was recorded Aug. 5 by the Clerk of the Court.
The 3,962-square-foot stucco home was built in 2007 featuring five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a dock built along the Manatee River, a swimming pool and spa, stone fireplace and gourmet kitchen.
The listing advertised Beruff's other home next door at 11523 30th Cove E., to create a compound. That 4,000-square-foot home is listed for $895,000 featuring four bedrooms, three baths, built-in outdoor grill, a caged spa and pool and a dock.
Beruff acquired the vacant parcel for $99,200 in 2007 from Jarmarc Development, according to the Manatee County Property Appraiser. The home also has three vacant adjacent lots to the east that Beruff owns.
In addition to his business, Beruff serves on the Sarasota Manatee Airport Authority and is on the State College of Florida Board of Trustees. He also is on the board of the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
Warehouse sells for $1M in southern Manatee
TALLEVAST -- A warehouse once home to Florida Air Conditioning Distributors has a new owner.
A company managed by Mahmoud Asran and Nour Touk of Sarasota purchased the building at 2415 Whitfield Industrial Way for $1,075,000 from Mollie and Declan Huber, according to property records.
The single-floor warehouse was built in 1981, featuring 21,216 square feet and a fenced yard for storage.
The buyers used a $1.4 million mortgage financed by the sellers to complete the deal, according to property records.
The Hubers are taking a loss on the sale price as they purchased the building for $1.4 million in 2006 from DSC Group, according to property records.
Businesses registered to Asran include Afamia Stone Imports, Ameri Metal Recycling while Touk operates Asran Global Resources in Sarasota, according to business records with the Florida Division of Corporations.
Home on Holmes Beach fetches million-dollar buyer
HOLMES BEACH -- A cozy home overlooking Perico Bay has changed hands for just more than a $1 million.
Jamie Tucker purchased the three-bed, two-and-half bath home for $1,025,000 from Dona Heil, according to property records. The 2,000-square foot home at 627 Key Royale Drive was built in 1967 and a dock was built in 2005, according to property records.
Tucker used a $685,000 mortgage from Quicken Loans to finance the purchase, according to Clerk of the Court records.
Fred Heil purchased the property for $850,000 in 2003 and the property was later transferred to Dona Heil in 2012, according to the Manatee County Property Appraiser.
