Schroeder-Manatee Ranch Inc. will hold a job fair from 1-7 p.m. Tuesday at its headquarters at 14400 Covenant Way, Lakewood Ranch.
The company is hiring for the following full-time positions: dishwashers, line/prep cooks, golf maintenance labor, maintenance tech, scale operator (bilingual), field technician and sod stackers.
In addition, SMR has part-time openings for servers and bartenders, online concierge and course attendants at its Ancient Oak Gun Club.

It Works! profits growing fast
PALMETTO -- It Works!, a skincare and nutrition company, is one of 18 companies on the Direct Selling News Global 100 list that grew by more than $100 million in one year.
Earlier this year, It Works! ranked No. 27 of the world's top 100 direct sales companies on the DSN Global 100.
CEO Mark Pentecost set the goal to make the DSN Global 100 list in late 2011.
It Works! first made the list in 2013 at No. 56 for its 2012 revenue of $200 million. The company's revenue was $456 million in 2013, and it is on track to become a billion-dollar brand.
The Global 100 is the Direct Selling Association's annual list that ranks the top revenue-generating direct selling companies in the world. Other companies recognized as among the $100 Million Growth Club are based in the United States, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom. This is the first time the DSN has recognized companies for their growth of $100 million in one year.
Miami land fetches $100 million an acre
MIAMI -- A 1.25-acre site on the Miami River at Biscayne Bay changed hands for a stunning $125 million, a record high for a property of its size in South Florida, according to CBRE, the listing broker.
The buyer is Riverwalk East Developments LLC, a newly formed Florida limited liability corporation managed through several other corporate entities by German and Gloria Coto. German Coto is the son of Argentine businessman Alfredo Coto, whose family is best known for its prominent Coto supermarket chain; Gloria is Alfredo's wife.
The seller was D&P Property Holding, a Florida corporation managed by Miami developers Ugo Colombo and Diego Lowenstein.
