DALLAS — Twin Peaks Restaurants has signed a multi-unit development agreement to open four locations along the Southwest coast of Florida featuring what it calls the “ultimate man cave.”
Warm Restaurants plans to open restaurants in Bradenton, Sarasota, Fort Myers and Naples over the next several years, beginning with the first location in Naples next summer.
The Warm group is led by Mexico City native and longtime Miami resident and restaurateur, Ricky Warman, who owns and operates 31 Papa John’s pizza restaurants in the Miami area. Warman also owns two Genghis Grill locations in Miami and Fort Lauderdale and is now expanding into casual dining with Twin Peaks.
“We first learned about Twin Peaks at the multi-unit franchising conference in Las Vegas a while back,” said Warman in a press release. “I was very intrigued and, after talking to the franchise team and hearing about all of the amazing growth opportunities, I was hooked. Twin Peaks is the best concept in its segment of the industry and I only partner with top-of-the-line brands, so it’s very much a win-win from an investment standpoint.”
Never miss a local story.
With 38 locations in 17 states, Twin Peaks opened its first Florida restaurant earlier this summer on I-Drive in Orlando, across from the development site of a mega-theme park. Various development agreements include a total of 25-plus Twin Peaks restaurants to be opened across the state over the next 10 years.
“Twin Peaks is new to Florida and there’s a huge demand for this type of concept in the area,” said Warman. “As a brand, Twin Peaks is worlds ahead of its competitors and there’s no other restaurant that can compare to it anywhere in Southwest Florida. The potential for success is endless and I really can’t wait to get started.”
The Warm group is scouting locations in Naples and Fort Myers and will open next year, along with plans to open a second location within 18 months.
“We are very excited to have Warm restaurants on board with Twin Peaks,” Shannon Glaser, senior director of franchising at Twin Peaks, said in a press release. “Ricky’s extensive experience in the Florida restaurant scene will be invaluable to our brand as we expand in the market.”
