MANATEE — The Cortez Bridge malfunctioned at about noon today causing traffic delays as vehicles could not pass over the drawbridge.
Bradenton Beach Police Department officials said the bridge has since been repaired and is functioning as usual. The bridge had been malfunctioning for about 20 minutes, causing traffic delays.
