MANATEE -- Some guests at a Bradenton Halloween party proved to be more trick than treat.
A 24-year-old woman was having a Halloween party at her home in the 5000 block of 22nd Street West on Monday night when four males arrived who had been invited by someone else.
While at her home, one of the males, a 6-foot, 300-pounder nicknamed “Pumpkin,” snatched a gold necklace from the host’s neck, according to a sheriff’s office report
One of the other suspects took her wallet, containing $800 in rent money, the report states.
As they left, the suspects told the host that they would “retaliate” if the cops were called.
The victim did not call the sheriff’s office Monday or today until 7:35 p.m., the report states.
