PALMETTO -- Two 16-year-old boys have been arrested in connection with the robbery of an ice cream vendor in a Palmetto residential neighborhood in the 2300 block of 17th Street West Wednesday evening, the Palmetto Police Department reported.
The victim was pushing an ice cream cart about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday when the teens attacked him by punching and kicking him. The boys then reached into the victim’s pocket and took his wallet, police reported.
