No one was injured Friday night after a home in the 1100 block of 67th Street Northwest in West Manatee became engulfed in flames, according to Manatee fire officials.
At least five fire engines responded a little before 11 p.m. and the fire was put out in approximately 10 minutes.
Fire officials said at least four renters reside in the home. Some were home at the time of the fire, but it was uncertain how many.
“The most important thing is that they got out safely,” said West Manatee Fire Rescue Capt. Tom Sousa.
