MANATEE — A fire completely destroyed a vacant mobile home about 12:25 a.m. Monday.
Firefighters from the Cedar Hammock Fire Rescue responded to a fire in a mobile home park in the 5100 block of 14th Street West, according to a press release.-When the firefighters arrived, they found 50 percent of the mobile home engulfed in flames.
The fire was extinguished in about 10 minutes and no neighboring mobile homes were damaged.
Fifteen firefighters and three fire engines responded to the scene.
