BRADENTON —After the arrest of Brian Perry on child pornography charges, police expressed concern he might have local victims.
Bradenton Police Deputy Chief William Tokajer said as of last week the department has received four informational calls on Perry, none revealing victims, so far. Police found an estimated 1,000 images of child porn on computer equipment and CDs in Perry’s Palmetto home, some of which depict explicit sexual assaults on children.
Since then they have been looking for potential local victims and seeking information.
Perry, 50, was arrested this week as a part of an investigation conducted by the Cyber Crime Task Force.
As of Saturday afternoon, Perry remained in jail on a $320,000 bond, according to the Manatee County jail website.
Tokajer said detectives are still investigating Perry, including any affiliations he might have with any organizations where there are children, including schools, churches or community centers.
Anyone with information on Perry can call Bradenton Police Department Detective Kevin Bunch at (941) 931-9380.
