MANATEE -- A stolen car, a chase over the Sunshine Skyway Bridge, the attempted ramming of a Florida Highway Patrol trooper, and a backlog of warrants sent two suspects to jail overnight.
About midnight, members of the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Violent Crimes Task Force and Palmetto Police went to the "Hall" nightclub, 1300 block of U.S 301 North, Palmetto, where they had heard that 15-year-old juvenile, identified only as RH, and Lashay Cooper, 20, would be.
RH had eight warrants for his arrest to include: escape, burglary, grand theft, five additional misdemeanor warrants from Manatee County and two traffic warrants from Sarasota County. Cooper had a grand theft auto warrant from Manatee County.
The two suspects arrived at the "Hall" in a dark silver Saab SUV which was reported stolen from Sarasota County, according to a sheriff's report.

Law enforcement officers attempted to stop the vehicle, which fled at a high rate of speed. A pursuit ensued north through Palmetto and over the Skyway Bridge into Pinellas County.
While on the Skyway Bridge the vehicle attempted to ram an FHP trooper who had engaged in the pursuit. according to the Sheriff's Office.
The vehicle came to a stop at Exit 16 and I-275 after the two passenger-side tires had shredded off. Both suspects were taken into custody without further incident.
RH was charged with aggravated fleeing to elude, grand theft auto, resisting arrest without violence, and no valid drivers license in addition to the eight arrest warrants.
Cooper was arrested on an outstanding warrant for grand theft auto. Both suspects were booked into the Pinellas County Jail.
