MANATEE — Two armed men broke into a residence and stole a laptop computer while forcing a resident to lie on the ground, according to the Manatee County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office said the armed burglary happened about 10:55 p.m. Wednesday, at a residence in the 1200 block of Princeton Avenue, when the intruders entered through an unlocked door. One of the men had a handgun and forced the resident to lie on the ground while the other suspect went through the house looking for property, according to the sheriff's office.
The victim was not injured.
During their investigation, deputies found a small amount of drug paraphernalia and residue.
