SARASOTA - No criminal charges will be filed in the brief disappearance of 3-year-old Sarasota boy Tuesday that lead to authorities issuing an Amber Alert.
The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said the disappearance was the result of a domestic disagreement.
The child's mother's boyfriend had the boy and called the sheriff's office after he learned of the Amber Alert, according to the sheriff's office.
The child was released to the custody of his father.
