Food Drive for Samoset Elementary: Living Lord Lutheran Church, 11107 Palmbrush Trail, Lakewood Ranch, is collecting food to distribute to families of Samoset Elementary School. Many students have been identified who do not get sufficient nourishment at home over the weekend. The church collects peanut butter, macaroni and cheese, maseca flour, dried beans, rice, corn or canola oil, pasta sauce, spaghetti noodles, canned fruit and vegetables, and dried cereal.
