Film series: Temple Emanu-El, 151 McIntosh Road, Sarasota, will show the film "Watermarks," at 2 p.m. Aug. 12. The 2004 award-winning movie is about the champion women swimmers of the legendary Jewish sports club, Hakoah Vienna. In 1938, the Nazis shut down the club, but the swimmers all managed to flee the country before the war broke out, thanks to an escape operation initiated by Hakoah's functionaries.
