Manatee County Florida State History Fair Team takes honors in Tallahassee
Twenty-three students from Manatee County area schools competed at Florida History Fair in May in Tallahassee. They were part of the 1,100 students from across the state, representing 32 counties, who traveled to the state capital for the competition. During the three-day event, more than 200 judges evaluated some 631 entries in five categories: historical papers, documentaries, exhibit boards, websites and performances.
